About the group

This group was set up in 1985. The group meets 3/4 times a year for a variety of events and activities including entertainment events, a summer garden barbecue, quizzes and speaker meetings.

The group has a small band of volunteers who organise and run the events and activities. There are additional helpers who help at the meeting (e.g refreshments, welcome table, guess the weight of the cake etc).

The group meets in a variety of local venues depending on the event (e.g member’s garden, church hall, café etc). The group can have up to 35 people attending meetings.
