About the group

This group started in 2004 and meets on a Saturday at 2:30 pm. The group meets in a church hall in Wickham (North of Fareham). It is a comfortable, small, light and welcoming venue. The cost of hall hire and refreshments is covered by members who attend making a small contribution. They meet 4 times a year at about 3 monthly intervals.

Members are notified about events by mail by the group volunteer coordinator. Usually there is a speaker for about 45 minutes, followed by informal conversation which offers support and encouragement.

The group has a number of regular members and usually has between 10 and 16 people that attend the meetings. Everyone is encouraged to help with refreshments and arranging seating.
