Your local support group

Living with dystonia can feel isolating, but you're not alone.

Support groups have been at the heart of Dystonia UK for over 40 years, built by people who believed no one should face dystonia alone. That mission still drives us today.

Whether you're diagnosed or supporting someone else, connecting with others who understand can truly help.

Our local support groups are friendly, welcoming spaces where you can connect, share, and feel seen. These aren’t just meetings, they’re communities where real conversations happen, friendships grow, and support flows both ways. Plus, you don’t have to explain everything. You can just be yourself and be understood.

"I really enjoy the social side of being with others with the same condition; we have all become friends!" - Kent group attendee
