Dystonia research

By supporting research today, we’re helping to build a better tomorrow.

With around 100,000 people in the UK living with dystonia and no cure yet available, research has the potential to transform understanding, treatment, and quality of life.

Dystonia UK has always valued research and has a long history of supporting studies that explore the causes of dystonia, develop improved treatments, and highlight the real-world impact of the condition. We’re proud to champion the researchers, clinicians, and community members who are driving progress forward.

We’re committed to helping grow dystonia research, strengthen patient involvement, and improve outcomes. By supporting research today, we’re helping to build a better tomorrow - and keeping hope alive that one day a cure will be found.
