Volunteer for us

We are immensely proud of all our volunteers across the UK and the work we do would not be possible without them. We welcome people from all backgrounds who are happy to give some time to volunteering.

Why should you volunteer to be part of Team Dystonia UK?

It’s simple:

  • You can change lives
  • You can meet new people
  • You can learn new skills
  • You can make a difference
"I thoroughly enjoy working as a volunteer at Dystonia UK because all the staff are brilliant people to work with and hugely knowledgeable. I also feel a great sense of pride when I have been able to offer support and answer people's questions about what dystonia is and how I and Dystonia UK can help them now and in the future. " - Nicholas Calder-Bundy, Dystonia UK volunteer

What volunteer roles are there in Team Dystonia UK and how do I sign up?

Visit our pages below on the areas you can help with to find out more.

To sign up as a volunteer simply email us at [email protected]. You can let us know if there is a role you’re more interested in or if you are happy to help with anything!

Raising awareness

Raising awareness

We know there is very little information on dystonia in treatment centres so we developed leaflets about the condition and the work we do to support people with dystonia that can be displayed in clinics. You could volunteer to help as an awareness ambassador by delivering these materials to your local clinic or treatment centre. Read more
