Director of Operations and Development

I joined Dystonia UK in 2019 following previous management roles in retail operations. During my time in the retail industry I oversaw the operations of a multi-million-pound family owned childrenswear business and introduced a French children’s brand to the UK. The difference between these experiences and my current role may seem vast. However, my work has always been focused on people, operations and strategy, and I am delighted that these are all very much at the heart of my role at Dystonia UK.

As Director of Operations and Development I oversee the membership, group activities and policy work, as well as building our network of medical and pharmaceutical partnerships. I also manage our internal operations and establish our development strategy.

In my spare time I am busy renovating my flat or tending to its unruly garden. I also enjoy running and particularly love the paths alongside the River Thames, near to where I was born and raised in West London. I come from a family of five, with British and Swiss heritage, though am sorry to say I cannot do much more than order a meal in either French or German!

I love operational roles that can have a positive impact on the lives of individuals. I am motivated and committed to making a real difference for the dystonia community and grateful to have a role that I find so incredibly rewarding.
