Throughout 2019/2020, we’ve been updating our brand and website with a fresher, more modern, more memorable look and feel.

We know from research and from speaking with our supporters that not nearly enough people understand dystonia or its impact and how difficult this is for people that have been or are being diagnosed with the condition, so we are continuously looking at how we can help to change that. We've also been looking at how we can best express who we are and what we do as a charity. Following this work, we've updated our identity – how we look, feel and sound – to help us stand out more and get dystonia noticed.

Throughout 2019/2020 we have been working on a rebrand to evolve and become more inclusive for the whole of the dystonia community. You will have seen The Dystonia Society branding switching to Dystonia UK. This is a phased rebrand so both old and new branding will be living alongside each other for a while yet as we grow into our new look and feel.

Our new website is a huge step on this journey, you will find plenty of content in easy to read formats, videos, and pictures.

We are continuing to put supporters at the heart of what we do and you will see patient stories and how you can get involved while never forgetting the information that is so important to people on their dystonia journey, from information for those just diagnosed to in-depth analysis of the different types of dystonia and treatments we are here for you all.

The site will continue to develop throughout the coming year and we hope you will check back often to see the new updates.
