Clive Lawson, whom some of us will remember from previous group events, will speak to the group.  Some years ago his hand dystonia forced him to change his career (as a violinist), and he will tell us in particular how, over time, he has managed to reduce his symptoms.  We will also be able to welcome Dayna Ferdinandi, the new Head of Fundraising and Communications at The Dystonia Society.  She will briefly introduce herself and tell us about her work.

Please note that our meeting venue is The Chapel Box Room at Girton College (https://www.girton.cam.ac.uk/conferences/rooms/chapel-box-room/). The room has barrier free access.  Tea, coffee, and water will be available at a small price.  We are grateful to Clive that he managed to book the room for us free of charge.  We very much hope that you and your partner or carer will be able to attend the meeting.  For directions to our venue within the college, please ask at the Porter’s Lodge. Girton College offers free parking.

If you would like to attend, please RSVP by September 21 to Bettina on 0845 899 7106- we need to know an approximate number of participants.
