About the group

This group was set up sometime in the 1990’s and meets to give members an opportunity to have a coffee and talk about their problems around dystonia, find out information and help each other.  Refreshments are provided by a member.

The group meets 3 times a year for regular meetings.  They meet at The Brain Charity (formerly known as the Neurosupport Centre), in central Liverpool near Lime St Station.  The Brain Charity also have a coffee morning on the first Monday of the month, Margie (the group coordinator) can meet members there for a chat if they phone on the 0845 number to arrange this.

This group have a volunteer who organises and runs the group meetings.  There are additional helpers who help with refreshments and chairs.

The group usually has between 8 and 16 people that attend the meetings.
