Making Your Donation

The Dystonia Society relies entirely on receiving voluntary donations to provide vital services such as this website, our helpline, information leaflets and local groups. We provide support each year to more than 30,000 people with dystonia and their carers. Please give generously and help us by giving Gift Aid (learn more) if you can.

Your donation will generate the following benefits:

  • £5 a month funds the salary cost of a helpline worker to handle 6 calls or emails from people seeking support
  • £10 a month enables us to handle a complex advocacy case
  • £20 a month keeps the helpline open for a day

"I can't thank the Dystonia Society enough for the help and support I have recieved since getting my diagnosis. It can be quite frightening and lonely when diagnosed with something like cervical dystonia ... without your support, I don't know what I would have done."

"It's like coming out of a long tunnel. For so long we've waited for someone to take our case seriously and all this time XXX has been a shell of his former self. For the first time, we were taken seriously and have a proper programme of treatment. The doctor apologised to us for our former treatment by the NHS. At last we have hope, and it's all thanks to the Dystonia Society"

"It was lovely to hear from someone with the same condition. I have visited the Dystonia site before but never used the Forum. Glad I have now as I feel better for it!"

We very much appreciate your support.
