Membership
Membership of the Dystonia Society is open to all who have dystonia, to their families and friends, and to anyone who wishes to support the Society's work. Membership categories are as follows:
Individual (£12) For members n the UK and Ireland who wish to join the Dystonia Society in their own right. Members receive three issues of the Society's national newsletter each year and also if they wish copies of their local branch newsletter. Members are also sent a copy of the Annual Review, including a summary of the Society’s audited accounts and comment on the work of the Society over the previous year. Members can attend the Annual General Meeting and vote in the election of Trustees. Members can be nominated for election as Trustees.
Family (£18) By paying a small additional subscription all members of your family resident at the same address can become members of the Dystonia Society, giving us valuable additional support.
Overseas (excluding the Republic of Ireland) (£24) Offers the same benefits as individual membership, with publications sent to your home address wherever you live in the world.
Low income (£6) A concessionary rate for anyone with dystonia who cannot afford the full individual membership subscription—perhaps through being unable to work because of their disability.
